I’m using the magazine-basic theme. One Click Post seems to mess up the CSS – centering is lost and the page becomes a mess. Pity, I’d like to have used it.
Cheers
Can you give me your URL so I can check by myself ?
Hi, your plugin is nice and useful. I have a question: i use the gPress plugin, that allow users to insert maps into the text fields, adding a new “map” button to tinymce in the wordpress backend. Clicking the button, it opens a popup where you search the place, write the name and insert the map in the textfield as shortcode, and so the map will appear in the post. In your opinion there is a way to integrate the gPress tinymce button in One Quick Post? I’d like so much allow users to post maps in my next blog. Thanx for all!
Hi, I am using the plugin with wp 3.0 MU install and buddypress 1.2.5
I added the shortcode to a page and I get the following erroromessage displayed:
Warning: Missing argument 2 for FEE_Field_Category::wrap() in /home1/meincont/public_html/wp-content/plugins/front-end-editor/fields/post.php on line 279

How to activate upload images (example for gallery) in this plugin?
I try a four days, but it’s don’t work(
I have problem editing post after I update the plugin to Version 0.2.1-alpha

i was trying to use your plugin with NiceEdit from niceedit.com im still working on it
bkLib.onDomLoaded(nicEditors.allTextAreas);
Is there any way to set up default (one) category where all those Quick Post will go? Thanks
You should be able to do this with this setup :
[oqp_form taxonomies{category}{include}=10] to include only cat#10.
Just wanted to pass along this error. I am testing this out on with WP 3.0 on a XAMPP desktop setting so that may be the problem. I haven’t tested this plugin out on a live website yet.
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-content\themes\articlestream2\header.php:2) in C:\xampplite\htdocs\wordpress\wp-includes\pluggable.php on line 890
I know this plugin is still in alpha testing but I wanted to throw out the idea of selecting categories through a dropdown menu. And for my own selfish needs, users only being able to select a single category.
Aside from that, great work. I’ve been playing around with the TDO submitter but I think I’m going to switch over to this plugin since it is far easier to use and does most of what I need it too do.
1) Yes I know about this error, i’m trying to find out where it is…
2)Which part (reading or posting) are you talking about for the drop down menu ? I don’t understand; there is a dropdown menu when posting a new ad ?
3)ability to select a single category > will be implemented; that’s a good idea.
Now (version 0.1.9-alpha) you can force users only being able to select a singular category.
Just downloaded the new version. It looks like you’ve fixed the header error after submitting a new post.
When selecting categories on the posting page I have a long list of all of the categories, not a drop-down menu.
I am using
$form = do_shortcode("[oqp_form]");so this may be why I’m seeing things differently.i also wonder how to do that
Nice plugin, how can I change the category selection to be a drop down menu? so only one category can be selected.
Hi,
I got the following error when I tried to run this plugin…..
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STATIC, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in /nfs/c01/h15/mnt/431/domains/mysite.com/html/wp-content/plugins/one-quick-post/includes/classes.php on line 4
Just an fyi.
got this to work, was using PHP 4. if you upgrade to php 5 everything works fine.
Is there a way to remove moderation? ie. Immediately published?
F.Y.I Problem still exists with Your Ver 0.2.7. “Cannot Modify Header” problem (i.e. “…headers already sent out (output started at /home/mydomain/public_html/wp-content/themes/mytheme/header/php:2 in /home/mydomain/public_html/wp-incudes/pluggable.php).
Problem exists when user role is author, editor, contributor.
Not a problem when logged in w/administrator. Have uninstalled, re-installed 3 times. Have reviewed script fix – trying to figure it out.
Anyone else?
i’m using [oqp_form taxonomies='post_tag'] and it works on a page. but buddypress Add New page still show tags and category fields. i need only tags. how to change this code in form.php? i guess is should be modified.
args['taxonomies']);?>
i don’t need description for the post.only title and tags.how to disable description requirement alert when saving?
When a user is logged in, and NOT apart of the Editor or above role I get the following errors:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/XXXXX/public_html/bp/wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default/header.php:3) in /home/XXXXX/public_html/bp/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 890
If the user is an admin or editor it posts the page successfully. Also, the posts get thrown into pending in the wordpress dashboard under Posts.
This is using the shortcode under a wordpress page, but it does it as well when it’s enabled under a buddypress tab.
How can this be setup so regular contributers or subscribers can post to the blog?
WordPress Version: 3.0.1
Buddypress Version: 1.2.5.2
Plugin Version: 0.2.7
Hello,
When I past the short code in a page the form renders twice, once above the header and outside the stylesheet, then again in the page. Then when I make a post, in either form, it duplicates the content. Have you seen anything like this before? I’d love to utilize this plugin, but it’s not life or death.. Let me know if you can point me in the right direction..
Thanks, Dustin
Cheers for the plugin!
I’d really really like to enable picture upload… I tried [oqp_form pictures=true] and it says that you need to save first, but when I save and then click update it does say “Upload Pictures” at the bottom but there is no upload form.
Any instruction would be really appreciated!
ps. I’m using default theme (Twenty Ten 1.1) and have tried logged in as an ‘admin’ and an ‘author’ user)
I must be missing something here, but how do you use this plugin? I have enabled now I have no clue what I am meant to do with it. I can see people commenting on shortcodes, but i can’t find any information on what format these shortcodes should utilize, nor anything on templates or even where a user should find the link to post in the first place.
Someone please link to the documentation for this? There must be something around judging by everyone else seeming to have some idea how this works?!?!?
Excellent development of plug-in!
What is lacking at the moment:
1) Localization (ready to translate into Russian – ru_RU)
2) The ability to customize the text before the form of input entries (explanatory text)
3) the ability to change the location of the menu in the admin bar buddypress (such as not to create a separate item One Click Post, and the menu Blogs – Create your post)
4) Ability to insert images on the link
5) to customize the WYSIWYG
Point 2) has been fixed in 0.3.7-alpha. Check the FAQ !
Hello. I just upgraded the version of the plugin, I really liked the new changes, but is not an option to save changes to the forms. As can be saved? thanks.
There is a “save change” button under the “delete step” at the end of the form. But you’re right it’s difficult to see because of the “support & donations” block…
Hi,
I also upgraded your very nice plugin, but I can’t save either. In the admin section the form option page stops rather abruptly after the ‘Pictures’ options. The next line says ‘Map Markers’ and that’s it, there’s nothing else, no save-option.
Hope it’s an easy fix, I’m really looking forward to using the new features!
Thanks!
Just upgraded the latest alpha (0.3.3) and it broke, would appreciate a quick fix
Map Markers
Fatal error: Call to undefined function yclads_maps_is_setup() in /home/content/38/5487238/html/wp-content/plugins/one-quick-post/includes/admin-form.php on line 478
You’re right ! I made the OQP plugin to “power” my classified ads plugin (YCLADS); so I use them always both activated and I didn’t saw that one. Get 0.3.4-alpha !
Just upgraded to 0.3.4 and can’t get anything to show on buddypress. The previous version seemed to work fine.
A note for future versions, it would be great to be able to list post-type forms in the bpsub menu so as not to take up real estate in the top navigation.

thank you for your plugins, I have this post in the forum but I thought to post it here perhaps I get answer. I am currently using Your classified ads and one quick post on Buddypress. I noted that the quick post settings says, its been disabled for budddypress. Does it mean oqp is not working on buddypress now..?
Anyway, with all the plugins together as I currently have it , It all seems to be working well except that when you have to place an ad from the front end, the place ad button returns does not go anywhere and I am not sure what I am doing wrong.
The short code on a page is not working either, I am not sure, there are two short codes, custom and default. I placed them in a page and added the link in settings, but still its not working.
Any suggestion on what I should be doing to make it work.
Also, I need the classified ad page as my home page. currently I have the buddypress activity stream as my homepage but I would rather have the Classfied ad page as the home page. Is there a shortcode for the classified ad page that can go on a page I can set as homepage..?
I will appreciate any help or suggestion to get things sorted.
Thanks a lot
The versions of the plug in I am using are:
Buddypress: Version 1.2.6
Your classified ad: Version 0.4.7-alpha
One quick post: Version 0.4.4-alpha
thanks
hi, i use wordpress 3.01, no buddypress, oqp 0.44-alpha and five other plugins (gpress, SI captcha and three others). when entering the oqp shortcode [oqp-form "my-custom-form"], only the shortcode displays, when using another shortcode, the expected form/files get displayed. i’ve deactivated all plugins thinking oqp might collide with another plugin but that didn’t solve it – any thoughts?
found the reason why the shortcode won’t execute. the example you give [oqp_form "default-form"] works, but when using the ready shortcode it displays under form slug, it shows [oqp *-* form "default-form"] – so, thanks for this great plugin, i hope my users will love it…
i’d have two feature requests:
- offer option to sign-up users (checkbox or radiobutton)
- display user information (in germany, the website owner is accountable for the content as long as there is no valid information about the person providing the text)
Hi, just wondering how long before there is a deliverable for buddypress integration?
Hi
I’m trying to use the One Quick Post with the Prospress Auction plugin, and I already like how OQP includes their forms already!
One problem though is that the OQP form won’t go through to page two.. I get the 404 page. Any idea on what’s going on? I’ve tried it with a couple different forms including the default form, yet no changes.
Thanks in advance for your time,
Matt
Which version of the plugin ?
Please give me details. Also, it’s better to report bugs in the support forums.
